We have bought a new house. Which means we are now trying to fix up our new house to move into while we try to sell our old house. It is quite an experience. Bryn refers to our new house as Android 2 and the house we live in as Lilly 1 (your guess is as good as mine). We like to refer to them as mortgage 1 and mortgage 2. The house was a foreclosure so it is requiring some minor work such as paint, new locks, oh and a new dishwasher because doesn't everyone take their dishwasher with them when they move? It is interesting to see what the old owners felt like they needed to take--light fixtures, plug in covers. It is fun, though, working on OUR home. Hopefully we will get pictures up soon.

Teeth and Houses
Bryn got her first cavity. I was hoping that the experience of getting it filled would have the same effect as the you tube videos of bacteria that she viewed over Christmas but I had no such luck. (For those religiously following our blog that for some reason can not recall--Ian showed the girls bacteria videos and now they obsessively wash their hands--see one of the Christmas posts) So, Maryn and I took her to the dentist where they first gave her laughing gas (not the technical term but close enough). Note to dentists: don't give laughing gas to a child that already talks nonstop. She laughed and talked and chatted with the dentist about tuna and sardeens. When she was done they gave her the laughing gas mask to take home--okay, I thought, a souvenir from a traumatic experience. Nope, I asked her if it hurt, she said "no, it was kind of fun and I got this mask." Then she turned to Maryn and said "don't you want to not brush your teeth so you will get one of these masks too?" Her mask was pink--she wants to try for a blue one next time.

oh my gosh that is way too funny about bryn and the cavity. crossing our fingers - arianna has not had one yet. she just got sealents on her teeth - so hopefully that will help keep them at bay.
i look foward to seeing pictures of the new home!!
Too funny about Bryn... hopefully she won't convince Maryn not to brush her teeth!
And good luck with the house! We looked at some foreclosed houses that were missing the hardware from the cabinets, so perhaps it could be worse!
