I just thought I would add some more pictures of our daily lives. We spend most days at our community pool.
Bryn is such an entertaining girl. She has a distinct personality and a lot of creativity. Each day when we go to the pool she is doing something other than swimming before she actually swims. The other day she brought a princess visor and pulled a chair up to the edge of the pool. She put her swimming towel on the chair, put her visor on and sat in the chair. Every once in a while she would get up and walk around the pool. I asked what she was doing and she said she was the lifeguard. Another day, Ian came with us to the pool. She has been joking lately that he 'works for her' by doing anything she wants. That day, she pulled up a reclining pool chair, borrowed my sunglasses, put her towel on the chair, laid down and said to Ian 'get me a smoovie (smoothie)'.
At her preschool camp last week they had a day about a Japan. They learned about the culture, told stories and came home with Japanese lanterns and chopsticks. Later that afternoon we went to the pool and she had to bring the chopsticks and her Goldfish crackers. Before she would get into the pool she ate the entire bowl of Goldfish with her chopsticks.
Today, she was a Hoola Girl. She was doing a hoola dance before she got in the pool.
Here is Maryn having me take a picture of her jumping in. She has become very brave this year in the pool. She is a little fish. She will jump off the side, dive to the bottom and practices her crawl stroke and back stroke. She just loves being in the water.
