Girl Scouts

Last year in kindergarten a few of Maryn's friends joined Girl Scouts. After about half way through the school year Maryn decided that she would like to try it out too. She has loved it and is in her second year now. A couple of weekends ago her troop and many other of the area troops rented out a bowling alley and had a mother and daughter bowling afternoon. It was so much fun! The put on black lights and music videos on their tv screens. It was Maryn's first time bowling and she loved it.

Other than Girl Scouts the girls have been taking art lessons. Well, it is an art class. They took it for 5 weeks (on Wednesday nights) and really kind of liked it. They learned a little about perspective, shading, balance and contrast. They decided that they didn't want to try it again though.
